Set and shot entirely on location within Livingston County, the film seeks to provide an authentic, heart-wrenching, and ultimately hopeful window into the unseen battles that return home with America’s service members. Production is slated to begin in the coming months, utilizing various businesses, neighborhoods, and natural backdrops across Livingston County.
To ensure the film handles this crucial and sensitive subject matter with the utmost accuracy and respect, Joe Malik and his production team are partnering closely with local Livingston County veteran support organizations and advocates.
“This isn’t just a story; it’s a reality for millions of veterans and their families,” said Malik. “By collaborating directly with local veteran groups, we want to make sure we honor their experiences, capture the true weight of PTSD, and highlight the vital importance of community support. This is a story about Livingston County, made by the community, for a national conversation.”
