GENOA TOWNSHIP, MI — Following an unexpected vacancy in November 2025, Genoa Township Trustee Rick Soucy stepped into the role of Township Clerk, quickly transforming the department’s operations and reinforcing voter confidence ahead of upcoming elections.
Upon assuming office, Soucy built a collaborative, high-performing team focused on efficiency and interdepartmental integration. His proactive approach has fostered a cohesive work environment designed to better serve the residents of Genoa Township.
To ensure the highest standards of municipal governance, Soucy has immersed himself in the core responsibilities of the office and successfully completed all requisite accreditation courses.
