BRIGHTON, MI – Local filmmaker Joseph Malik is looking for volunteers to participate in the upcoming community film, “Free Jerry – Justice Denied.” The film, a powerful look at a man’s fight for justice after a disputed conviction, is seeking people to act as protesters for a pivotal scene.
The filming will take place on Saturday, September 13th, in Brighton, Michigan.
Participants will be asked to stand in front of a broadcast station, holding protest signs that read “Free Jerry.” The production team will provide the signs, but participants are also welcome to create their own.
“We will supply the signs, or if you would like to have your own design, you can,” said Joseph Malik.
To receive the exact filming location and to be a part of this community-driven project, interested individuals can email studios@g1nbc.us.
Join the movement and “We will see you in the movies.”
About the Film:
