G1NBC Media Center is seeking an experienced, visionary Owner/Operator for the City Press Club, a cornerstone of our new mixed-use development project. The ideal partner will take the lead in establishing, managing, and owning the operational side of this upscale, plant-based cafe and culinary venue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishment & Launch: Oversee all pre-opening activities, including kitchen design finalization, equipment procurement, menu development (focused entirely on upscale plant-based cuisine), vendor contracts, and securing all necessary operating licenses.
- Operational Management: Direct daily operations, including staffing, financial oversight (P&L responsibility), inventory control, quality assurance, and guest satisfaction, ensuring a high-end, consistent experience.
- Brand Development: Drive the culinary brand and marketing strategy for the City Press Club, positioning it as a premier destination for professionals, media figures, and the local community.
- Financial Partnership: Contribute capital and assume equity ownership in the City Press Club operational entity, aligning long-term success with the G1NBC Media Center development goals.
- Venue Integration: Collaborate with the G1NBC Media Center team to facilitate seamless use of the “Eatery Entertainment Exchange” space for media events, broadcasts, and private functions.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience (5+ years) as an owner, principal, or senior manager in high-end restaurant or cafe operations.
- Deep passion for and expertise in plant-based cuisine and sustainable, high-quality ingredient sourcing.
- Strong financial acumen with a successful track record of managing restaurant profit and loss statements.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to lead and motivate a team while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
