Truly, happiness

The good things in life are never free, they say
Always some price, something to pay
A good deed here, a kind word there
Something that's all it takes to get ahead
to help others clear their head
bring out true feelings
grasp the meanings
understand the words
let them come out and flow
jive with the movement
always room for improvement
but what can be better than clipping words together
in intricate ways
that dance and bring joy
a smile on your face is all that matters
when nothing is better

Pictures illustrate the meanings
the words you cannot perceive
not conceive because they don't exist
how do you explain a feeling
a private matter
meant only for yourself
when you need to get out those thoughts
but don't want the whole world to know
that you go to sleep at night alone
but wanting more
stare at the floor
and begin to wonder what it would take
to start a new day
on a good note, with good friends and good thoughts
and nothing more.
Just a thought that comes about
when you're truly happy
and the smile on your face is enough to light the entire day.

Truly, happiness.
Truly happy.
Truly
